How it works
A set process, in the order it happens. You can start the first step now.
Six steps, start to finish
-
Choose the revenue band
Pick the business's annual revenue band and the fixed fee appears straight away.
-
Tell us about the business
Its name, its ABN or ACN if it has one, whether it trades or holds assets, and the valuation date.
-
Pay by card
The fixed fee, in full. Payment forms the engagement, and your tax invoice arrives by email.
-
Complete the information request
Set a password and your client portal opens to it. Short sections, a checklist of documents, and your progress saved.
-
Review the draft
If anything needs clarifying, the questions appear in your portal. Then review the draft valuation report and approve it.
-
Receive the final valuation report
Issued to your portal and by email, with a 20-minute call to go through what it says.
What you need
To start: the business's name, its ABN or ACN if it has one, its annual revenue band and the valuation date. The valuation date is the day the value is stated at.
Not sure of the valuation date? It is usually the date of the transaction or the end of the last financial year. Your accountant will know, and you can change it before the work begins.
After you pay, the information request asks for three years of financial statements, answers to a short set of questions about how the business runs, and the documents on its checklist. Items marked helpful are optional.
The draft and the final
You see the valuation report before it is final. The draft appears in your portal for you to review. When you approve it, the final valuation report is issued to you in your portal and by email.
If anything in the draft is unclear, or you think we have a fact wrong, tell us in the portal or on your call. We are glad to talk it through, and we fix errors of fact straight away. The valuation opinion itself is ours to reach, independently and on the evidence, which is what makes the report worth having.
Each valuation includes a 20-minute call to go through what the valuation report says.
More than one business
One login can hold several valuations: a group of related entities, or, for an accountant or lawyer, several clients. Each business has its own fixed fee and is valued on its own.
